Content Coordinator
Ridge, NY
New York Cancer and Blood Specialists (NYCBS), a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a Content Coordinator to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and execute content strategies for multiple healthcare brands, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and target audience preferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing strategists, to develop engaging and informative content for various mediums, including blogs, emails, press releases, and more.
- Conduct thorough research on healthcare industry trends, medical advancements, and the competitive landscape to ensure the content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Manage content calendars, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines across different content channels.
- Create and optimize content for various channels, including websites, blogs, social media platforms, email campaigns, press releases, and digital advertisements.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools, make data-driven recommendations, and implement improvements to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
- Ensure all content is compliant with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices, including those specific to blogs, emails, press releases, and other relevant content types.
- Stay informed about emerging digital marketing trends and propose innovative ideas to enhance content strategies across various mediums.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subject matter experts, and opinion leaders.
We require:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in content coordination, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare marketing and digital content trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and keyword research is a plus.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines, such as HIPAA and FDA, is highly desirable.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with clients is a plus.
Hours: Monday-Friday
Salary up to $55,000 Annually.
