The Enterprise Content Management System Analyst works with business units to examine and support new and existing applications and processes, report common issues, evaluate system performance, and recommend new systems and procedures related to Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS). Collaborate with team members, key business contacts, and information technology partners to determine the best approach for utilizing technology in various business units. With minimal supervision, this position must be able to provide escalated ECMS support, assist and/or lead project efforts, evaluate and implement potential solutions, and document results. This is an in-person role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, design, develop, implement, administer, and support ongoing development and support of the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS).
  • Work with business users and the OnBase/Nautilus team to deliver business value and user adoption of ECMS technologies.
  • Design, develop, and deploy custom workflow solutions with the capability to integrate with other internal and external IT systems.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve ECMS software and issues.
  • Manage document indexing error corrections, deletion requests and develop retrieval methods (cross-references, custom queries, etc.) based on user needs.
  • Determine the appropriate rights and privileges for ECMS-specific roles, such as user account administrator. Develop user groups accordingly.
  • Implement solution to standardize our capture, storage, and retrieval of documents on our ECMS repository.
  • Review and manage vendor communications on enhancements, upgrades, changes, and system outages for systems that they manage.
  • Responsible for opening change tickets for system updates and following the Change Control Process.
  • Collaborate with business units for creating user acceptance test scripts (UAT).
  • Performs UAT testing on managed applications for projects and upgrades.
  • Validate results by testing program changes or updates with business units.
  • Work with business units to identify potential efficiency and automation opportunities within the applications they manage.
  • Examine current and new business processes to identify potential efficiency improvements and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with business units to document process and workflow diagrams.
  • Assist with sponsoring business units on projects with new or upgraded technologies, by understanding the fundamental operation of the technology.
  • Work with the project management team to assist in defining business requirements. Provide the Project Manager with any additional task they feel needs to be added to the project plan.
  • Assist business units in creating and updating standard operating procedures and ensure that the Helpdesk is informed and versed in system support.
  • Answer and collaborate with vendors to support business unit questions and issues regarding technical issues associated with applications/technologies that are currently in use or newly implemented.
  • Provide escalated support for business line applications.
  • Resolve Business System Analyst (BSA) related tickets within the SLA timelines, ensuring that KPIs are met.
  • Review issues with business unit(s). Use root cause analysis to identify the issue and when the issue needs to be escalated to the vendor.
  • Provide BSA ticket reports, such as updates, status, and resolution information, to business units.
  • Participate in application user groups for applications that they manage.

Non-business hours responsibilities as determined by risk weighting and SLA of solution:

  • Be available for tier 1 system issues, such things as system outages, business continuity, and other critical business issues and interruptions (as needed).
  • Minimize business impact of upgrades and implementations by working off-hours when appropriate.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

This individual should have advanced technical skills and excellent documentation skills as well as a track record of following through on commitments.

  • Banking experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong teamwork skills – being able to work in a collaborative style is critical in this position. High quality consciousness is necessary and commitment to deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical skills involving upgrading, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing banking systems and solutions.

  • Ability to understand process flow diagrams.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Experience with implementation and/or operation and integration of various banking systems and 3rd party applications.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Solid understanding of Information Security
  • An understanding of technical hardware and infrastructure
  • Solid computer skills including MS Visio, MS Project, MS Office Suite
  • Experience with OnBase/Nautilus ECM solution is preferred but not required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or related field.
  • Banking industry experience preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
