Description
Position Summary:
The Contingency Management Coordinator will meet with clients twice a week to review their progress in the program. CM Coordinator with conduct urinalysis screenings on clients using an instant read cup and distribute authorized incentives through Incentive Management Portal based on UA test results. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
Essential Job Functions:
- Distribute authorized awards to clients upon providing negative urinalysis result.
- Use motivational interviewing skills to engage clients and encourage them to participate in treatment.
- Complete all necessary enrollment procedures and documentation for Contingency Management participants.
- Provide care by delivering and tracking all Contingency Management incentives.
- Maintain a complete, accurate current files for all clients with required documentation in agency records and electronic databases.
- Document all client activity in accordance with WestCare Clinical Data System standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of client files per HIPAA and all applicable guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
Certifications/Licenses:
- Certification or Registration in substance abuse counseling.
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required;
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a degree is preferred;
Experience and Competencies:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational and problem solving ability;
- Knowledge of offender populations, criminal subcultures, and cultural differences, substance abuse assessment tools, therapeutic community concepts is preferred;
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion;
- Ability to work well in a team environment;
- Adherence to the highest standard of ethical conduct, especially to standards governing confidentiality;
- Professional appearance and demeanor;
- Must be culturally/linguistically sensitive to populations served;
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR);
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance from LEIE, MSIL, and EPLS;
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare’s vehicle insurance is required;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Fresno County Credentialing; and
- CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily performed in a community-based treatment setting; and
- Some outdoor activities may be required.
