MGM /Amazon Studios has an immediate opening for an experienced contract administrator interested in working with our team to help to deliver content on Amazon’s platform and off.
The successful candidate in this role will have a strong working knowledge of deal making and relevant terms in the entertainment industry; prior experience working for an entertainment agency, production company, studio or television network; possess the ability to complete high volumes of complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance; react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; and collaborate effectively with internal teams. The candidate will also have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. A high level of competence, integrity and discretion in handling highly confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is key. This position is located in Culver City, California.
Key job responsibilities
– General administrative support to 3 BA execs (i.e., helping to schedule calls, expenses, etc.)
– High volume deal tracking, including various report and grid maintenance
– Owning corporate approval coverage over the wholly-owned slate
– Working cross-functionally with Amazon’s development finance team to delineate terms and ensure talent payments are made in a timely manner
– Act as an internal and external point of contact for deal related questions and inquiries

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 4 year college degree or equivalent industry specific experience
– 2+ years work experience in a relevant role within the Film/TV/Entertainment production industry
– Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Production and Creative teams
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to track numerous high value dates and projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
– Knowledge of the industry landscape, including producers, production companies, agents and other entertainment entities
– Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint. Box, Rightsline and Airtable knowledge is a plus.
– High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
– Can-do attitude with initiative and follow-through
– Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
