The Contract Analyst II – Flexible Generation and Retail is a key role in the North America Flexible Generation and Retail GBU responsible for the creation and maintenance of comprehensive contract databases and the management of small to medium size contracts in support of the GBU’s activities.
This position will sit in Houston, TX and will report to the VP, Project Delivery, FGBU – North America. This position is open to a hybrid scheduled of both in-office and work-from-home days.

What you’ll do :
- Develop and maintain an up to date contracts database of all active and historical contracts that is accessible, sortable, and searchable
- Manage access rights and perform frequent updates to ensure the database meets project and internal stakeholder needs
- Develop and maintain an up to date contract request database that is accessible, sortable, and searchable

- In conjunction with ENGIE’s Procurement Team, develop and maintain a database of preferred suppliers, monitor validity of existing Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and monitor compliance with ENGIE safety, credit, ethics, and environmental policies
- Set up suppliers in Ariba and Coupa in support of project Request for Proposals and Purchase Orders requisition
- Act as single point of contact to address and troubleshoot Ariba user issues and questions from bidders
- Draft and negotiate small to medium size Work Requests (no RFP required) in support of Project Management and Business Development needs. Enter and manage associated PO requisitions in Coupa
- Act as single point of contact to address issues surrounding invoice receiving and reconciling invoice payment issues that may arise
What you bring:
- A minimum of a four (4) year degree preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in data management for large industrial projects
- A strong understanding of database management
- Ability to plan and work independently as well as working as a part of a team
- Ability to use business computer programs and Microsoft Suite
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, lead and drive changes
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with management and internal customers
- Experience with procurement software such as Ariba and Coupa and data and document management software such as MS Access, Sharepoint, and Power BI

- Must be available to travel up to 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

- Salary Range: $75,915-$126,525 USD annually
- Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
