Description of Duties:
The Contracts Management Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Supervise, lead, and mentor the Contracts team
• Ensure contract and proposal deliverable timelines and requirements are met for the IRES contract and all task orders
• Support Contracts and Proposals Manager in daily administration of contracts
• Provide training and guidance to members of the Contracts team
• Review proposals and ensure compliance with Request for Proposal (RFP) and base contract requirements
• Review modifications and award activities for IRES contract and all task orders
• Develop effective contracting solutions which mitigate or minimize potential risk to Jacobs
• Brief senior leadership on contracts status, as well as key issues impacting financial and technical performance
• Develop, maintain, and enforce processes for contractual administration, to include areas such as contract modifications, limitations of funds notifications, and other areas as assigned by the Contracts and Proposals Manager
• Support task orders teams as business advisor, and in identifying and resolving contractual concerns with the Government customer
• Lead contract discussions and negotiations with the Government customer
• Draft and review contractual documents such as Limitation of Funds notifications, Memorandums, Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REA), and Notifications of Change
• Audit proposal documents, to include Basis of Estimate (BOEs), Bill of Materials (BOM), Cost Proposal, and other documents as required by the Government customer
• Track, report, and resolve costs in excess for all task orders
• Support internal and external stakeholders, to include Government customers, Directors, Project Managers, and Finance Teams
• Approve contract modifications in the Jacobs financial system
• Maintain contract files in SharePoint and internal shared drive
• Conduct other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will:
• Be able to perform tasks successfully with minimal guidance under short timelines

• Be experienced in professional interactions with Government customers
• Be a highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently, as well as with others in a collaborative environment
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.
This position is expected to pay $108,900 – $118,900 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Basic Requirements:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience.
- General experience must include 5 years directly related experience in one or more of the following areas: Contract Administration, Proposal Development, Business Administration, Business Management, or Earned Value Analysis
- Must have experience and familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
- Must have, or be able to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Prior contract administration or contract management experience preferred
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- National Contract Management Association (NCMA) Certification
