Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
We are looking for a stellar Contracts Manager to be embedded with the Kuiper team. Your responsibilities will include identifying and implementing process improvements, as well as reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of contracts, including nondisclosure, services, and customer agreements. The successful candidate will work efficiently and independently, manage a high volume of projects with little guidance and proactively implement mechanisms that streamline repetitive tasks. The candidate will also have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology and enjoys being continually challenged in a high velocity environment.
This position will be based in Redmond or Seattle, WA.

This person’s responsibilities will include developing and implementing simplification and legal automation projects, supporting negotiation and execution of high volume and bespoke contracts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department.
– BA/BS degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– In-house contracts management experience
– The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
– Strong written and oral communication skills
– Space or aerospace industry experience
– Strong analytical and computer skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $146,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
