Cook – Driftwood Beach Bar and Grill at Cherry Grove Pier
Job Description –The cook will make mealsfollowing recipes, prep ingredients, and maintain a clean workspace at alltimes to follow health and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will ensurethat any dietary restriction requests from guests are fully executed in a timelymanner. The cook will produce meals intheir required portions and presentation guidelines.
JobResponsibilities –
• Ensurethat all safety guidelines for the kitchen are being followed
• Operatecooking equipment accordingly
• Followrecipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
• Ensurethat dishes are presentable
• Maintaina clean work area
• Maintainfood safety and sanitation standards
• Set up,restock, and maintain clean food preparation areas.
• Maintainaccurate food inventories
• Properlystore food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items asper established procedures
Requirements –
• Previousexperience as cooking staff (minimum 1 year)
• Befamiliar with food and safety sanitation guidelines
• Ableto be on your feet for long periods of time
• Wearthe correct attire for a kitchen environment, as required by the supervisor
• Available to worka flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• ServeSafecertification is not required but is a plus
