Job Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is a brand ambassador for The Oxford Hotel, The Oxford Club & Spa,
and The Crawford Hotel who will work with a variety of constituency, both with internal teams
and external partners and clients. This individual will be an adept digital marketer and possess a
high level of graphic design skill. This position requires excellent organization, project
management, and prioritization capabilities, as well as highly developed verbal and written
communication skills.
Responsibilities
Digital Marketing and Social Media Focus
• Help execute ornamental social media structures by elevating:
– Consistent Instagram Stories for both properties
– Driving engagement by creating thoughtful graphics
– Monitoring social media messages
– Responding and monitoring social media influencers
• Maintain digital elevation on website such as calendar updating and implementation to elevate
the user experience.
• Assist Area Marketing Manager by coordinating Oxford Activations through:
– Scheduling
– Creating graphics for Front Desk
– Procuring invoices
– Booking new talent and filming each
• Possess a refined eye for lifestyle and still life photography to capture and create
high-performing social content.
• Occassionally attend some shoots with Area Marketing Manager to help shoot, style, edit film, and overall support on shoot.
• Stay abreast of social trends and engage innovative methods to capitalize on new marketing
opportunities.
Qualifications
Education/Formal Training
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and skills in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field preferred.
Experience
One+ year(s) of employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic level of copy writing skills and experience.
- Microsoft Office Applications – All. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of the digital media and social trends
- Self-starter with above average planning, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Creative team player with good people skills
- Experienced in photography
- Possess a portfolio that is aligned with the demonstration of a creative eye

- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume creative environment.
- Bending/kneeling – repeated bending and kneeling required while filing.
- Mobility – must be able to reach all areas of hotel and building locations to assist clients.
- Requires sitting most of the time, but does entail walking, standing and carrying of up to 15 pounds short distances.
- Requires a significant amount of repetitive motion for typing on a keyboard
