Job Description

We’re looking for a sales coordinator who is passionate about Universal Studios Hollywood to join our Youth Sales team. As Youth Programs Sales Coordinator, you will support the team in selling various ticket products, including Grad Bash, College, and Youth Programs. You will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities with a sense of urgency. You will also partner closely with Finance, Operations, Event Production, and other internal teams.

General Responsibilities:

  • Support Youth team with sales initiatives, focusing primarily on Grad Bash and the College market, but also assisting with the broader Youth channel
  • Partner with other Youth Sales Coordinator to balance channel priorities
  • Manage Grad Bash and College email boxes, and assist with Youth Programs inbox
  • Field phone calls from schools/organizations and travel planners
  • Route leads to appropriate sales rep/manager
  • Complete general office and administrative tasks
  • Attend vendor fairs and on-campus activations
  • Assist with preparations for trade shows and client site visits
  • Lead site visits and familiarization tours
  • Act as a point of contact for schools and organizations
  • Coordinate with schools to schedule sales presentations
  • Manage internal reporting logs and shared documents
  • Process ticket orders and maintain accurate tracking
  • Interact with clients in a professional manner, both in person and virtually
  • Implement inventory management and organizational systems in storage spaces
  • Consistently seek new ways to grow and support the business
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Requirements:

  • Team player, willing to jump in to assist teammates when needed
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Highly-developed customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to handle urgent, high-pressure situations in a way that is conducive to finding solutions
  • Willingness to spend time in the field assisting with on-campus events
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with others and collaborate across the organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Desired Characteristics:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in related field
  • Sales experience, ideally within the K-12 or college space
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize goals and responsibilities
  • High energy level and passion for the brand
  • Salesforce (CRM database) and/or Galaxy (POS system) knowledge is desirable
  • Ability to speak foreign languages, particularly Spanish, is a plus
  • Reliable transportation to travel to schools and organizations within Southern California is desired, but not required

  • Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
