As the Corporate Accounting Manager, Global Fixed Assets you will be a key member of the Corporate Finance Team by taking ownership of all fixed asset transactions in order to ensure alignment with our capitalization policy across multiple locations (US and International).
The day-to-day
- Lead a team that will be responsible for the monthly close of the fixed asset module, as well as the preparation/review of monthly journal entries, depreciation and reconciliations
- Play a key role in providing assistance to our external auditors and support our SOX controls and testing
- Ensure the accuracy of our property tax returns for multiple states
- Leverage your accounting expertise in the assessment of potential capital purchases to ensure items are in compliance with the company`s acquisition policies, budget and GAAP
- Be responsible for capitalization and tracking of fixed assets and managing periodic fixed asset cycle counts
What you’ll need
- Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration (Accounting) or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Strong experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Solid understanding of GAAP, financial statements and accounting theory
- Highly organized driven individual with drive and propensity to grow within the organization
- Self-directed with outstanding communication skills working in team environment
- Proven track record of successful process improvement initiatives
- ERP system experience (Oracle and SAP preferred) in a high volume environment
- US Citizenship required
- CPA required
What will help you on the job
- 3+ years related experience in capital accounting maintaining and reconciling fixed asset sub-ledgers for US and International locations
- Prefer experience in a government contracting environment with CAS and FAR experience
Salary range: $100,800.00 – $166,250.00 / annually
