Corporate Control & Reporting Sr. Cash Flow Analyst

PepsiCo Corporate Control is a unique team within our enterprise. Corporate Control serves as one of the catalysts for optimizing shareholder value and ensuring financial strength. This is accomplished by assuring the integrity of financial information, effectively communicating financial results to management and external groups, and providing finance related services and consulting to Divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Close and consolidation of the PepsiCo statement of cash flow reporting on a periodic, quarterly and annual basis, including ad hoc requests
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the consolidated PepsiCo consolidated statement of cash flows
  • Topside cash flow consolidation adjustments required to close the income statement
  • Prepare PepsiCo external consolidated statement of cash flows on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Work closely with cash flow Sr. Manager to provide technical interpretation of cash flow accounting standard, ensuring internal and external financial reporting results for cash flow accounting are complete and accurate
  • Interact with Corporate Treasury to ensure key financing activity is appropriately reflected
  • Work directly with Corporate Tax and Corporate Pension teams to ensure key cash flow activity is appropriately reflected
  • Maintain documentation of cash flow account definitions and provide account guidance as needed
  • Complete all related SOX requirements
  • Complete special projects and ad hoc management requests

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $68,000 – $ 113,850 based on a full-time schedule
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA or in process of taking their CPA exams with a minimum of 1 exam completed
  • Big 4 accounting experience
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • SOX experience (testing, walk throughs, etc)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to adapt quickly & maintain flexibility with regard to ad-hoc projects, revisions to areas of responsibility and organizational change
  • Experience in both public and private sectors
  • Proficient in Excel – formulas, pivot tables, macros
  • HFM reporting (financial data reporting)
