As the Corporate Instructional Design Administrator you will design content to ensure compliance, increase personal development curriculum and build a team with high synergy, leadership capabilities, effective communication, ideal culture, and clear constancy of purpose.

This position will also design and implement/facilitate comprehensive training solutions to improve those departments within UTA that do not have training support. It is key to have the following skillsets: extensive experience with content design and delivery, project management skillset that prioritize incoming requests for content design and delivery, and the ability to lead a team of exceptional employees.
Job Summary

UTA is seeking an experienced Instructional Design leader to oversee and manage Talent Developments department curriculum design process. This role will lead a team of Instructional Designers to meet the corporate/business training content needs of the organization. As the Corporate Instructional Design Administrator , you will provide leadership, vision, and professional development for team members and exhibit living the UTA Way.

This corporate/business oriented role is perfect for someone who can apply advanced adult learning tactics into a practical application-based upon business strategy and learning across the entire agency. As the Design leader you manage/design/build/implement for both new content creation as well as maintenance on existing content. This role will work closely with departments who don’t have a training representative to implement/maintain an enterprise-wide learning management system and ensure that the training goals and objectives can be quantified and tied to not only LMS data and reporting, but also to organizational business strategies.
Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Business Management or closely related field. Masters or additional certification in Instructional Design preferred.

Experience:

Five years of instructional design experience; 2 years supervisory experience in managing teams, preferably in learning design and development. Demonstrated facilitation skills and ability to communicate effectively in 1:1 or 1:many situations. Strong relationship building abilities and influencing skills to pull people together around common goals. Preferred experience: Developing training standards; knowledge of the ADDIE/AGILE methodology or similar methods; and coordinating training efforts within a decentralized environment.

  • Skilled in computer use and the application of a variety of associated software to include Learning Management Systems preferably in SumTotal, Adobe Suite, and Articulate 360.
  • Experience with video editing software programs, such as Vyond, Premiere Pro, or FinalCut Pro.

Skilled in Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) at the intermediate level.

This job requires regular and predictable attendance.

Pay Rate: $77,500.00 or more depending on experience and education.
