Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager

We are currently hiring a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) ManagerReporting to, the Global CSR leader this position will be a critical internal agent within the company, helping to build buy-in of global corporate citizenship (inclusive of corporate giving, sponsorships, employee engagement in volunteerism and charitable giving). The successful candidate will assist with executing strategy, roadmaps, and goals to accomplish our 2030 Opportunity for All commitments. This position will also be responsible for leading and supporting projects that drive the visibility and execution implementation of our global corporate citizenship strategy. The responsibilities are relevant to our businesses, create excitement and build equity among Trane Technologies stakeholders, including employees, communities, and nonprofit organizations. He or she will partner cross-functionally with enterprise and business leadership marketing, finance, legal, HR and employee communications. This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite a week) and will be based out of our Davidson, NC location.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with teams and people-leaders across the business to align, guide, and provide technical direction in the execution of corporate citizenship strategy and programs with a focus on employee volunteerism
  • Manage global Purple Teams network, fostering consistency, and collaboration, and providing guidance for improving ongoing engagement with CC activities
  • Manage the planning, programs and execution of signature partnerships to include: contracts, opportunities, volunteerism and communications
  • Manage execution of global VTO program to optimize awareness and participation, with a focus on hourly populations
  • Generate quarterly progress reports, tracking to 2030 CC commitments
  • Serve as liaison to Regional Sustainable Futures Councils to ensure alignment of global strategy
  • Lead the processes for tracking data year-round and for annual ESG reporting
  • Identify opportunities to establish best practice processes
  • Identify ongoing opportunities for operational excellence in programs, policies, and practices
  • Contribute to elevating Trane Technologies’ brand as an invested corporate citizen

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field
  • 6-10 years related experience (i.e., public relations, corporate philanthropy, crisis/issues management), preferably for a Fortune 500 company with diverse product categories and customer segments
  • Knowledge of corporate Foundations and/or nonprofit organizations
  • Must possess strong project management, problem solving, listening, and written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to work well with diverse groups, be a team player, possess analytical and “client service” skills, be an innovative thinker, and a self-starter
  • Must excel and thrive in dynamic environments, global experience a plus
  • The ability to manage project timelines and determine workflow effectively and appropriately; computer proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel required. Knowledge of Benevity platform is a plus
  • Strategy, data and planning skills, including an ability to think strategically on both organizational and systemic levels
  • Advanced problem-solving skills to work through and resolve key challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, team building and relationship management skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism and experience in dealing with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally

Base Pay Range: $100,000 – $121,800.

Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
