The CVP Structured Settlements will help drive profitable sales and support the execution and development of key strategic initiatives. This position will support and provide distributed leadership to the new business sales desk functions, develop, and maintain relationships with structured settlement consultants, and attend industry events and consultant meetings. This position will be responsible for developing and updating key metrics, sales analytics, and industry market trends.
- Work closely with management on meeting financial objectives while maximizing earnings
- Collaborate with Finance on structured settlement pricing strategies
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with structured settlement consultants and internal matrix partners
- Manage the assessment, prioritization, and completion of strategic initiatives
- Provide thought leadership and execution support on the strategy of the business
- Develop presentations for internal and external consumption
- Attend industry conference events and consultant meetings
- Support the new business sales desk/document review functions
- Enhance benchmarking metrics and implement reporting to measure trends and business performance
- Develop recommendations for process improvements and work with teams to implement changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Law preferred
- 7+ years’ related experience required
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with thought out solutions
- Strong financial analysis and executive presentation skills
- Strong personal drive, self-direction and judgement
- Knowledge of structured settlements a plus
- General understanding of annuity products and interest rate sensitivities
- Ability to support pricing strategies that will result in profitable sales
- Ability to make decisions that are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and tax codes
- Ability to interact with senior leadership team, internal stakeholders, IT, OGC, and Tax Department
- Ability to interface with external contacts including structured settlement consultants
This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits.
