Cost Control Coordinator (Contract Role)

The Cost Control Coordinator will manage financial tasks associated with all boutique and specialist projects in North America and selective assigned projects in South America.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages cost control aspects including vendor onboarding, creating purchase orders and invoice processing through SAP, payment follow up, change order compliance, cash-out forecasting, close out and TA collection, reconcile accounts and prepare simple reports.
- Responsible for preparing and coordinating the execution of vendor contracts.
- Prepare sourcing forms for procurement, and routing for signature.
- Interface with PMs, contractors and vendors for requesting information or clarification related to invoices and change orders.
- Identify cost variances to approved budget by working closely with PMs to monitor and alert the Risk.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, accounting, construction management, or quantity surveying.
- Minimum 2 years relevant financial experience. Experience in capital construction for high end retail projects preferred.
- Attention to detail and a strong aptitude for dealing with numbers.
- Inhouse experience preferred.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF.
- Proficient in SAP preferred but not essential. On the job training will be provided on SAP if required.
- Strong communication skills in verbal, and written format
- Knowledge of construction project life cycles and cost management preferred.
