About the Role
TodayTix Group is in search of a bar-raising Creative Director with ecommerce experience to elevate our visual identity and maintain brand guidelines across the portfolio. In this role, you will oversee a team of visual designers, copywriters and production agencies to develop best-in-class design systems, campaign creative and marketing assets across a variety of formats including digital advertising, outdoor media, brand collateral, TV/video, radio, social and more.
We are looking for a candidate with robust visual design expertise, who has both the vision and executional know-how to translate briefs and business needs into designs that motivate action. The successful candidate is someone who is a great communicator, cross-functional partner, tenacious problem-solver and can navigate multiple projects with ease. You have a passion for your craft and a playbook of proven-processes that drive creative excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and evolve the design of a beloved brand as it expands into new regions and categories.
Please note: this role can be performed remotely or in the office. Qualified candidates must be able to work east coast hours. For those based in the greater NYC area, when it comes to determining whether to work in the office, remotely, or a mix of both, we empower our teams to design what works best for them.
What You’ll Do:
- Establish visual identity and brand guidelines, ensuring that all creative adheres to the brand standards, delivers against the brief and achieves business objectives
- Own the end-to-end creation of design and copy for marketing campaigns, digital ads, out-of-home, motion graphics, CTV and other marketing materials (collateral, presentations, one-sheets)
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and development for a team of visual designers, copywriters and network of agencies and freelancers; evaluate how to best utilize resources and budget
- Lead design reviews and present creative to key stakeholders and company executives
- Utilize ecommerce best practices, industry trends, audience insights and learnings from creative testing to identify new breakthrough creative concepts to test, iterate and refine
- Partner with brand, marketing, product and UX leadership to ensure design consistency across every user touchpoint
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs, prioritize work, and identify new capabilities required of the creative team
- Identify what factors drive creative performance across different regions and platforms
- Embrace feedback throughout the creative and production process and iterate quickly
- Foster a team culture that reflects our core values
We’re Looking for Someone With:
- 8+ years of design or art direction experience with at least several years in-house at an ecommerce brand
- Experience overseeing design talent, delegating work to designers at different levels and assuring that projects of varying complexity are executed beautifully, on-brand and on-time
- A strategic point of view matched with proven hands-on creative craft
- Strong business acumen and ability to prioritize work based on objectives and impact
- A keen understanding of and appreciation for geographic nuance; this role is a global one and supports brands across multiple continents, all with regional flair
- Dynamic portfolio of work that showcases a wide array of experience across ecommerce brand marketing and performance marketing campaigns
- Able to effectively partner with various key stakeholders and manage multiple projects at once, balancing needs, timelines and deliverables
- A network of creative partners including photographers, illustrators, animators, writers, directors, and producers
- A bias for action and thrives in a test and learn, entrepreneurial environment
- Previous experience overseeing design for a portfolio of brands is preferred

$160,000 – $190,000 a year
Salary ranges are determined by competitive market data for our size, stage, and industry, experience and location of the applicant, and our internal salary banding, which is reviewed at least annually.
We aim to be as transparent, equitable, and fair as possible. Qualified candidates and our Talent Acquisition team will discuss salary and benefits in the initial conversation, and final salary will be determined after candidates complete the interview process. We expect that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at TTG fall healthily throughout the range based on the above factors.
