Overview
The Creative Marketing Coordinator position will work with the BOK Center and Cox Business Convention Center Marketing Department to coordinate the creation and implementation of venue and event marketing campaigns, developing strategies to expand brand identity while creating and maintaining relationships with media, print, social media and promotional partners. The Creative Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director of Marketing and will support the Marketing team with advertising, local and national interactive media, ticketing analysis, promotions, public relations, and grassroots efforts for events as assigned.
This role will pay a salary of $15 to $20.

About the Venue
The Bank of Oklahoma Center, also known as the BOK Center, is located in downtown Tulsa and serves as the premier sports and entertainment venue of the region. Offering 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and 565,000 total square footage designed to accommodate concerts, family shows and other special events, the BOK Center has been named one of the country’s best venues.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate creative research on behalf of the Marketing Department.
- Assist the Marketing Department with all imaginative marketing concepts and straegies.
- Coordinate Marketing Department meetings and claendars.
- Prepare various reports on cerative progress and marketing initiatives, trends and emerging venue campaigns.
- Work with the Marketing Department on day-to-day creative solutions, including but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Google Analytics, Tik Tok, etc.
- Coordinate creative marketing efforts between Marketing and Sales departments.
- Assist with fulfilling specific internal client’s creative requests and needs.
- Support all visual marketing initiatives, creative venue themes, and promotional messaging.
- Partner and brainstorm with Creative/Marketing teams ro generate fresh ideas to attract new events/self-created events and to promote upcoming events when booked,
- Coordinate creative updates on website, social media, and in-arena digital display systems.
- Recruit and assist managing student interns and/or part-time creative marketing staff.
- Contribute creative guidace to other departments when needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality/Sports Management, Business or a related field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge & interest in marketing and advertising functions.
- Intermediate to strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Understands the concept of branding.
- Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Previous event or entertainment marketing experience a plus.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Well organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
- Flexible-must be available to work evenings, weekends, and all event days as assigned.
- Team player who is creative and a proactive problem solver..
Working Conditions:
- Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required. Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
