Credit Assistant

The Credit Assistant is responsible for coordinating the flow of the credit application process, customer communications and any additional support needed by the Credit Team in a high volume processing environment.

This position is located at 14002 E. 21st. St. Tulsa, OK 74134. This position will be working in Tulsa, OK with a flexible work arrangement combining home and in-office for training. Working hours will be Monday through Friday with a flexible 8 hour work day between the hours of 7:00am-6:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Review the credit applications mailbox and respond to inquiries
  • Log and assign credit applications received via CRM or the credit applications mailbox to Credit Analysts
  • Enter requests into BOSS/CRM that are received via credit applications mailbox
  • Process bank and trade reference requests for credit applications; forward the information to the Credit Analyst
  • Respond to questions, requests and inquiries from sales, customers and internal departments throughout the credit approval/denial process
  • Communicate approval or denial information to applicants and prepare approval letter
  • Maintain all log sheets
  • Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Two years of previous experience in an administrative or general office role
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Apart from religious observations, must be able to work Monday-Friday 40 hours/ work week
  • Must be willing to accept starting pay of $15.00/hour.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • For flexible or full remote work from home positions, reliable high speed Internet connection and dedicated work space are required.
  • Must live within a 2 hour commutable distance to Tulsa, OK

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities-

  • Working knowledge of accounting systems
  • Ability to handle high-pressure environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong lines of communication with other departmental managers
  • Must have high attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy within a fast paced environment
  • General knowledge of accounting and understanding of common practices
