CRM Sr Manager

As a CRM Go to Market IT Leader, you will be part of the growing Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365 practice within Penumbra, serving as a subject matter expert to Penumbra’s Marketing, Sales, and Sales Operations organizations. You will be supporting their various initiatives around Sales, Services, Marketing, CPQ and CRM initiatives. These are primary areas but not limited to these only as there are peripheral applications within our enterprise framework such as SAP, Merlin, ShowPad, DropBox, Quickbase, cVent, and Veeva as platforms to support and work with. This position is responsible for managing and supporting the relationship with Global Sales, Services and Marketing, utilizing proactive account management strategies, and developing strong business relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role for a person who can roll up their sleeves for Salesforce Administration, Configuration, design, and development

discussions and triaging with business personnel.

What You’ll Work On

    • Build out roadmap for CPQ/CRM and driving efficiencies in the Go to Market functions
    • Manage a team of functional Business Systems Analysts to drive requirements from ideation to delivery
    • Select, manage, train, and develop staff. Establish objectives and assignments and provide ongoing feedback through performance reviews and development plans.
    • Act as a lead for all CRM requirements and functionality.
    • Manage a team of functional BSAs that will support and implement various systems that strengthen the relationship between Penumbra and its customers.
    • Responsible for providing hands-on leadership and managing a team of BSA’s to conduct business and functional analyses, project delivery, outlining success criteria and risk analysis.
    • Design, develop and maintain custom data input screens, reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflows.
    • Lead technical design and architectural sessions within the functional areas of Data Management, Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders, Cases, Contracts, Billing etc.
    • Manage and oversee data migration and data cleansing from existing applications and spreadsheets into new CRM applications.
    • Ensure data integrity through building out and maintaining system metrics to track trends in usage.
    • Identify problems and craft technical / communication plans to remedy and mitigate future issues.
    • Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving
    • CRM, Marketing, and Sales / Service operations.
    • Develop training materials and train users on CRM tool functionality
    • Work with Data Management Team to support Customer Master Data and touchpoints to our Master Data Platform
    • Work with PM and Scrum Master to delegate tasks and tickets to appropriate team members.
    • Provide high quality solutions to business problems for CRM for Sales and Marketing
    • Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
    • Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
    • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
    • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of related experience with at least 6+ years of SaaS business applications experience including robust hands-on experience in various
    • CRM platforms or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Worked on at least 2 CRM implementations, (Customer Master implementation)
    • Experience working with business and technology leaders to solve complex business and systems problems.
    • Experience managing offshore teams
    • Strong technical and functional troubleshooting skills within CRM (either Microsoft or Salesforce, preferably both)
    • Extensive experience and proven track record in the development and support of enterprise application systems and services.
    • Experience in developing, coaching, and mentoring a team; strong in hiring, team building and organizational development
    • Experience in design thinking, CRM design and implementation, Agile methodology and
    • tools.
    • Strong understanding of Sales and Service Cloud within Salesforce or Microsoft
    • Dynamics, and understanding of various workflow and configurations
    • Experience with Process Builder, Flows, approval processes and validations
    • Exposure to integration tools such as Boomi
    • Exposure to BI Applications such as Tableau, Salesforce Einstein Analytics, Power BI
    • Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience is a plus
    • DevOps experience a plus
    • Scrum Agile certification a plus
    • 6+ years of experience in a supervisory role desired
    • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously.

Working Conditions

    • General office environment. Business travel from 0% – 10%. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 15 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and to use a computer, sitting for extended periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to read, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

    • Starting Base Salary is $144,220/year – $197,414/year.
    • Individual compensation will vary over time-based on factors such as performance, skill level, competencies, work location and shift.
