CRS/Systems Analyst – American Queen Voyages

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strong technical understanding of Seaware software technologies and application components with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Deliver consistent service, partner with the business, 3rd parties, and Versonix SW provider to ensure business continuance.
  • Provide advanced Seaware administrative and technical support in-house; outsource larger issues to the Versonix technical support.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of Seaware software management and administrative policies, standards, and procedures. Maintain the Seaware planning process, architecture, and standards
  • Lead development of all Seaware modules, ensure accurate setup and completion of all business rules
  • Establish/Maintain/Enforce the Seaware security administrative procedures.
  • Work with and coordinate with the companies outside Seaware software provider to ensure user defined technical requirements that reflect desired business processes.
  • Requests for assistance are responded to in a timely fashion and ensure satisfaction; serve as company coordinator of all new user set up requests into Seaware application.
  • Identify and diagnose data quality or system deficiency issues, provide options, recommendations, and action plans for resolution; coordinate company decisions with outside Seaware software provider to ensure action occurs and is completed.
  • Contribute leadership to the successful implementation of Seaware involved projects, as well as ongoing releases. Ensure Seaware is always up to date.
  • Ensure behavior and performance supports the company’s Mission.
  • Solicits feedback; takes action to continuously improve success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Computer Science or another similar field required
  • Ongoing professional experience/development and training in Seaware software required via seminars, online classes/training and/or professional networking and certifications.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Previous experience with Seaware software mandatory
  • Previous experience with Oracle DBA activities preferred but not mandatory
  • Must be a proactive thinker and constantly think ahead to better serve employees and overall business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of business rules and validation processes
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task, i.e., manage multiple priorities with similar deadlines
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and efficiency
  • Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Prior experience with Oracle DBA activities a plus
  • Previous experience with MXP software preferred but not mandatory.

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience Seaware software configuration/administration
  • Prior SQL or data analytics skill preferred
  • MXP software experience preferred
  • Oracle DBA activities experience preferred
  • Travel/tourism, hospitality and/or cruise industry experience preferred

Other:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Submit to and pass alcohol and drug tests including but not limited to pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident/incident testing
  • This position may be REMOTE
  • Compensation would be roughly $70,000 – $85,000 depending on skills and experience
