Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, test and operate advanced software security techniques in compliance with technical reference architecture
- Perform on-going security testing and code review to improve software security
- Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise
- Provide engineering designs for new software solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
- Contribute to all levels of the architecture
- Maintain technical documentation
- Consult team members on secure coding practices
- Develop a familiarity with new tools and best practices
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience must be in computer systems research; simulation/model development andprototyping; SW design; programming; computational science; algorithm analysis and design;reverse engineering; and/or designing/developing computer or information systems, including HW and/or SW.
- Related fields (e.g., Eng, Math) may be considered if the programs contains a concentration of courses in the following CS areas: algorithms; computer architecture (not network architecture); programming methodologies/languages; data structures; logic and computation; and advanced mathematics (e.g., calculus, discrete mathematics). IT or IS degrees may be considered relevant if the programs contain the amount and type of course work equivalent to a CS major.
- Active TS SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
Level 1:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience
Associates degree with 4 years of relevant experience
Level 2:
Master’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience
Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience
Level 3:
Master’s Degree with 6 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience
Associates degree with 10 years of relevant experience
Level 4:
Master’s Degree with 9 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 11 years of relevant experience
Associates degree with 13 years of relevant experience

Target Salary Range
$146,000 – $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
