Arcadis is seeking a CSA Engineering Leader to support our Places – Design and Engineering team in North America. This position is remote and can performed anywhere in the United States. Arcadis offers office space for individuals who prefer the office work environment.

Role description:
As the CSA Engineering Leader, you will lead the de facto Business Unit, ensuring sound management of a portion of the overall P&L and active leadership of our Employee Experience, Client Experience and Service visions and transformation. You will lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of business leaders, coaching and mentoring talent.
Role accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible to develop and deliver a strong and coherent operational strategy and business plan, in line with the overall Global and North America Places Design & Engineering strategy.
- Deliver localized BU strategy within local context through financial and non-financial KPI’s (e.g. financial – in year net revenue, net contribution, aged debt and direct multiplier; non-financial – Employee engagement score, talent identification, and capability mapping).
- Drive and embed change needed, especially regarding standardization, and automation across core service
- Champion client care and key client management to ensure total client satisfaction, proactively working towards strengthening and broadening client relationships, enhancing the value of the Arcadis brand in the market.
- Maintain an overview of the bid process, taking an active role in bid/no-bid decisions where appropriate and maintain an overview of all client proposals and ensure oversight of the pipeline
- Continuously improve BU’s competitive position through strong client delivery, developing capabilities (e.g., technical expertise, commercial skills), drive in cost competitiveness, and talent management.
- Own and deliver the service transformation milestones for the Business Unit, as agreed with the Operations Director and Service leadership and aligning to global services roadmap.
- Coordinate the allocation of growth objectives by working with the Growth organization to identify, select and grow new clients, and targeting existing clients, to deliver growth in revenue, bookings and margin to meet or exceed planned targets
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in architecture or engineering
- 5 years of experience in managing a mid-to-large sized engineering team
- Demonstrated experience leading a team in both internal operational measures and external service/execution excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in architecture or engineering
- 10 years of experience in managing an engineering team of 30 people or greater
- Professional Engineer or Registered Architect
- Past history of P&L responsibility
- Past history of service implementation and hiring responsibility
