CSS IPCM Senior Project Manager (Remote)

In the CSS IPCM Senior Project Manager position, you will be responsible for delivering various projects or programs involving (but not limited to) customer implementations and changes, as well as agency projects, internal product implementations, and core business process changes. You will also take part in delivering projects or programs with a medium to high complexity, which is measured by the scale and scope of the request. Complexity is determined by the IPCM Management team when assigning the request based on the information gathered from the vetting and may refer to the number of countries or the complexity of the customer or product.You will be responsible for local, regional, and global project coordination with a broad scope of multi-national countries. The projects may include the coordination of multiple countries at the same time. All work will be assigned by IPCM Management and Project Readiness functions in Client Shared Services.
The Senior Project Manager should fully understand and be well versed in CSS processes and procedures, reporting capabilities, and have a good understanding of CSS systems. This role requires a good understanding of client reporting requirements and data flows, Agency Operations end-to-end processes, and resource and peer collaboration across functional teams. It is connected with the utilization of established and proven project management methodology, tools, and processes (PMP, OPPM, Prince2, Six Sigma) to scope, plan, analyze, initiate, execute, monitor, and control projects. You will be responsible for managing any risks and for providing visibility to stakeholders and requesters throughout the lifecycle of the project.
As aCSS IPCM Senior Project Manager, you will
- Plan projects according to the defined scope
- Confirm all necessary resources are assigned per the project scope
- Leverage regional and local resources and resources from the different departments and functions to support projects
- Follow all IPCM procedures and OneTouch Project methodology and reporting
- Lead discovery, planning, and collaboration calls leveraging CSS MS Teams and IPCM protocols
- Facilitate effective and constant communication with all project participants (internal/external)
- Keep the project sponsor(s) and stakeholders informed about the status of the project
- Manage Project risks
- Facilitate and drive decision making and escalation concerning the projects assigned
- Maintain project plan updates
- Distribute meeting notes within departmental guidelines
- Meet requirements of CSS IPCM Competency Matrix
About you
- Proven success in leading medium complexity projects in travel management operations
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Consistent performance evaluation of overall 3.5 or higher
- Must be reliable and flexible with working hours based on the needs of the projects
- Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP or equivalent)
- Experience in Project Management Software
- General to a strong working knowledge of BCD Travel’s multi-national structure and capabilities
- Good technical skills in GDS
- Ability to travel 5-20%, including weekends

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of CSS IPCM Senior Project Manager is between $72 000 and $100 000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
