Position Summary
Combines marketing analytics and data science approaches to help clients improve marketing ROI. Determines how, where and when clients should invest in marketing levers. Creates a clear and differentiated competitive advantage by combining best-in-class data, measurement and analytics, as well as media buying and investment expertise. Identifies, activates, and measures against high-value audiences. Analyzes holistic omnichannel business performance. Optimizes media for future performance. Provides continued analysis to drive positive business outcomes.

  • Under daily supervision, works within specific limits and authority on assignments of moderate complexity
  • Possesses functional knowledge and continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and clients through formal on-the-job training
  • Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline; solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents

Key Responsibilities

  • Pulls requisite data from multiple sources using automated approaches. Cleans and ensures the integrity and accuracy of data using standard processes. Performs regular data quality checks including comparison. Responsible for data processes such as ETL (extract, transform and load)
  • Builds models (e.g., marketing mix, brand awareness, marketing attribution) and performs analysis with guidance; commonly uses standard applications
  • Builds and updates presentations, analytical dashboards and simulation applications to support clients and internal teams. Leverages existing data reporting templates and routines
  • Loads models into optimization platform. Runs optimizations and simulations, as directed
  • Writes scripts to automate or process data, with guidance. Relatively new to programming languages (e.g., Python and SQL)
  • Participates in and is prepared for client meetings. Takes notes in meetings
  • Documents processes and follows best practices

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Data Analysis: Summarizes large quantities of quantitative and qualitative information to discover useful information and conclusions that can be used to form insights (Basic). Can connect numbers to how consumer behavior is impacted by exposer to marketing and marketplace factors
  • Kinesso Software: Working knowledge of various audience software and applications, including data visualization applications and statistics packages (Basic)
  • Communication: Communicates clearly and succinctly in both verbal (e.g., small group presentations) and written formats (e.g., research papers) (Basic)
  • Business Process: Ability to manage multiple tasks, adhere to timelines, track projects progress and ensure detialed project documentation
  • Domain Expertise: Knowledge of data science and/or modeling and application within media and marketing industry helpful, but not required (e.g., how media planning/buying works and entire media landscape) (Basic)

We also offer a competitive Total Compensation package, including a competitive salary and eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award or a relevant incentive award.

The pay range for this position is $61,000 to $80,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

Minimum Salary 61,000

Maximum Salary 80,000
