CUSTODY OFFICER-COWP
DEPARTMENT: Community Corrections
HIRING RANGE: $19.99-22.21/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: (4) 10 hour days
LOCATION OF POSITION: Goshen

JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises COWP & Work Release offenders, including orienting offenders to programs, creating files, transporting offenders to job sites, recording hours worked and performing drug tests. Prepares reports for department and courts; supervises offenders inside & outside facility; including head counts, transporting offenders to approved locations/events, and resolving problems. Monitors offenders assisting in operation of facility including cleaning/maintaining facilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and a US Citizen
- Must pass polygraph, background check (criminal & credit) and drug screen
