Freedom Solar Power is looking for an organized and detailed oriented Customer Account Coordinator to join our team. The Customer Account Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all customer accounts in regard to getting projects ready for installation. This role must have a solid understanding of the requirements needed for getting projects ready for installation and strong project management skills.
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Submitting architectural improvement requests to HOAs (homeowner’s associations) and POAs (property owners associations) for solar panel installations, including all necessary communication and follow-ups with HOAs and POAs.
- Submitting interconnection requests to utilities for solar panel installations, including all necessary communication and follow-ups with utilities.
- Submitting for city/county permit approval for solar panel installations, including all necessary communication and follow-ups with cities and AHJs.
- Communicating with customers to obtain information about their project when needed, including following up when certain items are needed (i.e. a signature on an interconnection application).
- Ensuring timely processing of HOA, interconnection, and permit applications. Tracking and submitting payments/receipts to Accounting.
- Working with the Customer Care team, Operations team, and Sales team in providing detailed updates on project statuses.
- Communicating with the Sales and Operations teams regarding details of projects, including inquiring on necessary details.
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School/GED degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Prior solar/construction experience is strongly preferred
- Must have Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office experience (including Excel and Word)
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

$55,000 – $65,000 a year
