Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for handling all customer inquiries, requests, complaints, etc. involving the establishment and maintenance of electric and gas service.
- Determine prepare and/or perform-demand, load factor, projected revenue, proper metering equipment, rate application, service deposits, agreements for electric and gas extensions, application of tariffs, rules and regulations codes and standards, secure easements, communicate company programs, service inspections.
- Applying technical expertise and company construction standards, design and application standards, procedures and guides, plan, design, prepare sketches, cost estimates and necessary orders for the construction and maintenance of all electric and gas transmission and distribution facilities.
- Act as coordinator for work orders and be responsible for coordinating activities in order to provide service to the customer in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications
• Required to have a minimum of an Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• College course load must include Engineering, Calculus, College Physics, Electricity and Drafting/Audo Cad.
• Electrical background/utility experience is preferred.
• Curriculums must be from an ABET or equivalent accredited engineering or technical school or program.
NOTE: Incumbents who demonstrate satisfactory performance for one (1) year in this classification and have completed the required studies as specified will be eligible for promotion to the classification of Customer Planning Representative A8.

Licenses or Certifications
- A valid US driver’s license
- ADM Exam.
Training and Courses
