The Wood Products Supply Chain organization has an immediate opportunity available for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this valued and strategic role, the Wood Products Supply Chain Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact for a growing roster of new and current customers.
In short, the Customer Service Representative role is key to the company’s success by maintaining customer satisfaction through superior customer service. The ideal candidate is a motivated, action-oriented person who is passionate about customer service. In this role, you are instrumental in developing and maintaining relationships by providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. You provide superior account support, manage the order process with a fine degree of accuracy, and are influential in assisting and strengthening our Wood Products organization with various projects and promotions. In this role, you will build relationships with customers across the US and Canada while mastering the workings of a metrics-driven, streamlined organization. This position will report out of Weyerhaeuser’s Seattle Headquarters with the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule (up to 3 days per week in the office).
Key Functions:
- Utilizing SAP and other sales tools to accurately process sales orders along with the management of invoicing without error or delay
- Providing outstanding customer support from initial contact to when product arrives to customer
- Working cross functionally across supply chain & sales to fulfill our customer order requirements
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Serving as main customer touch point for troubleshooting customer issues
- Meeting and/or exceeding service expectations and customer follow up
- Consistently looking for ways to improve processes across supply chain
- Participate in project work as required
- Ensure all documentation is provided to relevant parties – invoices, order confirmations, packing lists, etc.
- Maintain customer data within SAP, which includes completing new customer set up requests
- Have deep understand of Weyerhaeuser business, products, and customers to ensure highest level of service to customers
- Work within a team environment to meet business objective and goal
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, with bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 + years of customer service with some sales or supply chain experience is preferred
- Experience working in a team environment and independently as needed
- Demonstrates computer competence with Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc.)
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to recognize problems, assess situations, gather relevant information, and respond/resolve effectively
- Positive attitude and thrives in a collaborative environment
- Excellent customer service skills and demonstrates a passion for customers
- Desire to drive to not simply meet but exceed expectations
- Highly motivated self-starter who is results oriented

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $46,900-$70,300 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement: Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.
Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours, along with WA Paid Family & Medical Leave and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
