Job Summary:
The primary function of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to provide exemplary service to Nelson-Jameson customers through all customer interactions including order processing and phone calls. Day to day activities include order entry, order approval, order follow up, and returns, as well as facilitate timely answers with other departments regarding product questions, problem solving and follow up. Attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate with the department and with other business units are essential.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Processing data (incoming quotes, orders, returns) in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
• Handling incoming calls, consistently providing customers with a friendly, cheerful greeting and pleasant professional overall service.
• Initiating customer call backs as needed for delivery, pricing, product, or detail verification.
• Using good judgement to refer customer to others for technical assistance.
• Listening actively to the customer and then asking pertinent questions to gather information needed to help identify their needs and then suggest solutions.
• Building a positive rapport and thus customer loyalty through exemplary service.
• Collaborating with co-workers and other departments to provide the best possible service.
• Processing new customer account requests with proper questions and timely completion of tasks.
• Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
• High school degree or equivalent.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• Education: Post-secondary degree.
• Experience: Business administrative, data processing, order processing, general office, telephone customer service or similar experience.

Work Week:
Hours: 40 Days: Monday – Friday, 10:30a.m. – 7:00p.m. Overtime: As needed
