Job Summary
Collier County is looking for a fantastic customer service professional to join our team in the Communications, Government & Public Affairs Division. This role is multifaceted, as you’ll be serving in the County Manager’s Office, the Board of County Commissioners, and the 3-1-1 Call Center.

Essential Functions
- Provides customer service and assistance to customers, County employees, vendors, contractors, and the public.
- Work involves the reception, handling, and tracking of citizen issues, complaints, urgent needs, and public record requests submitted via phone, website, email, mobile application, text, or other web application; and to provide information and assistance in an efficient and accurate manner.
- Provides backup front-desk coverage for several critical positions, including the County Manager’s Office and the Board of County Commissioners’ reception. Proficient as a 311 Call Center Agent, and assists with Public Record Requests, and Records Management.
- Assist with Boardroom operations, scheduling, agenda entry, mail handling, and office operations.
- The successful candidate will maintain a high call volume answering rate and log detailed information from callers and their service requests. Maintain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the Agency’s organizational structure and leadership teams across multiple Departments and Divisions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year of related experience.
- Fingerprinting required.
- Effective Communicator verbally and in writing. Bilingual preference.

- Salary offers above the minimum pay grade may be considered based on qualifications.
- Essential Employees may be required to work during an undeclared or declared emergency. The County’s Administrative Office will determine who will be required to work on an incident-by-incident basis.
