CWL/MTWS Test & Evaluation Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct testing and integration.
- Employ a professional and confident approach when working with various engineering groups within the company and external entities to define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests.
- Identify functional issues and proposing effective resolutions.
- Operate in a fast-paced, integrated product development team comprising professionals from multiple contracting organizations and DoD laboratory entities.
- Develop and analyze test cases while providing regular progress updates.
- Report to a supervisor or manager, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy in your work
- Craft comprehensive test procedures.
- Utilize electrical measurement tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Conduct Verification and Validation for corrective changes.
- Perform installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems.
- Assist in configuring the lab in accordance with relevant drawings and port maps.
- Support informal and formal test events, as well as other customer-driven test activities.
- Identify, analyze, and document software, firmware, and hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Support the Logistics team in the development of installation and operation procedures
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience with the AN/BYG-1, AN/BQQ-10, AN/BLQ-10, or Submarine Weapon Launchers.
- A Bachelor’s degree in software, systems, or electrical engineering fields, along with 1-2 years of test or system engineering experience, may be considered in place of the aforementioned experience.
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
- Proficiency in software testing and analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- General knowledge of network configurations, operations, and commands.
- Navy or Submarine experience is a valuable asset.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Occasional travel to submarine home ports for Field Services activities.
