The Role at a Glance
We’re excited to bring on a CX Specialist to support our CX Center of Expertise (CX COE). This position can be remote or hybrid out of one of our key city locations.
As a member of this high-performing team, you would play a critical role in improving customer experiences. In partnership with more senior members of the COE team, you’ll explore customer issues, find opportunities, and make practical recommendations. Other projects and responsibilities will enable the team’s streamlined operations and delivery of customer and business value. You’ll get the chance to work on varied topics in the financial services ecosystem, from employees’ experiences with disability leave to companies’ support of their employees’ retirement planning and financial wellness. Dig into what customers experience (and want to experience) across digital, human, and paper channels, then contribute to strategies using customer research, data, best practices, and CX frameworks.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting CX Consultants/Strategists by gathering data, coordinating with partner departments, setting up digital collaboration environments, contributing ideas to brainstorming, and drafting deliverables such as presentations and journey maps
- Researching CX topics, trends, and examples to support solutioning and resource development
- Organizing team documentation (e.g., best practices, checklists/guides), developing and maintaining templates, and taking on meaningful administrative tasks to keep the team performing at its best
- Evangelizing across the org about our customers’ needs, the value of customer centricity, and our company’s approach to Customer Experience
- Building your customer experience skills and business knowledge to progressively grow team contributions
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 1-3 years of experience in CX, project management, UX, process improvement, or similar role related to the responsibilities of this position
- Desire to improve customer and employee experiences
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong professional relationships
- Strong organizational/coordination skills and attention to detail
- 4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Nice-to-haves:
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and/or Teams
- Familiarity with collaboration/ideation tools (e.g., Miro, Mural)

Pay Range: $51,900 – $89,800
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
