The Moody’s RMS Product Management team is responsible for driving new and existing products, managing them from initial concept to successful delivery and market adoption. These products help insurers better understand catastrophic events and create a more resilient and sustainable risk strategy.

The Role

Cyber risk is one of the most exciting and dynamic segments of the insurance market today. Moody’s RMS is at the forefront of this, offering cyber risk quantification models and products. We’re looking for a Product Management Analyst to be part of our Emerging Risk Models Product Management team to engage in activities that support the development agenda and commercial success of our cyber risk solutions.

You will collaborate across a number of Moody’s RMS teams to ensure the success of our products and initiatives. You will engage with clients and prospects to help define and support cyber solutions.

The ideal candidate for this position will be hands-on, analytical, comfortable working with highly technical, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, and be very client-oriented. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across a wide range of Moody’s RMS teams (local and remote) to ensure the success of model-related projects and initiatives
  • Technical discussion with clients regarding model methodology and usage of Moody’s RMS cyber products and solutions
  • Deliver compelling value-based presentations and demonstrations to both senior and practitioner-level audiences
  • Problem-solve to develop solutions to client inquiries that require subject matter expertise
  • Support the development of model documentation, client presentations, and marketing materials
  • Manage and execute client consulting engagement and service requests
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives and develop solutions to meet those objectives
  • Represent Moody’s RMS as a cyber risk domain specialist

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in one of the following disciplines or a related field: natural sciences, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, data science, or information systems
  • 3+ years’ experience in a client-facing, consulting, or analytical role
  • 2+ years’ experience in or supporting the insurance market
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and written skills
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to synthesize product requirements clearly within market and product requirements documents and market requirement documents (PRD & MRD)
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate with multiple engineering and field groups
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, able to manage time effectively, and accept a degree of ambiguity
  • Working knowledge of R, Python, SQL or equivalent programming tools and willingness to learn new concepts and technologies

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $79,000.00 to $115,000.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
