Essential Technical Leadership Functions:
- Take direction from and execute the policies and processes established by RGNext and the Sustaining Engineering Cybersecurity Manager to lead the Sustaining Engineering Cybersecurity team.
- Act as the deputy to the Cybersecurity Manager and serve as their delegate.
- Serve as the liaison between RGNext and government customers.
- Responsible for identifying and supporting the implementation of process and system improvements, cost reductions, and threat mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations employees follow company and customer policies, procedures, and change control process guidelines and standards.
- Organize, develop, and present briefings, written summaries, and written reports incorporating narrative, tabular and/or graphic elements.
- Safeguard and ensure the integrity of company and customer data assets.
- Support organizational efforts to transition from DIACAP to RMF security standards.
- Engineer secure solutions through proposals and projects awarded to RGNext.
- Identify future trends, standards, issues, and opportunities surrounding technology that could impact existing cyber strategies.
- Develop, modify, and review documentation, analyze the cybersecurity architecture of IT systems for compliance with DoD policies.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to engineering project teams to ensure delivery of cyber accredited products and accreditation assessments.
- Support engineering teams by assessing network and system security designs and making recommendations concerning overall security readiness and compliance with DoD guidance and best practices.
- Develop and manage strategic planning to ensure clear and consistent direction and deliver positive results.
- Monitor workflow to ensure delivery of products on time in accordance with requirements.
- Meet contractual requirements by planning, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives to ensure target dates and goals are achieved.
- Ensure work products are reviewed prior to release to ensure a quality product and consistency with RGNext operating instructions, policies, procedures, and organizational responsibilities.
- Monitor overall performance of assigned areas to ensure cost efficiency, employee and customer satisfaction, and effective competitive and cooperative strategies. Address issues or concerns through implementation of corrective course of action, as well as recognize personnel through the RGNext Recognition Program.
- Work with manager to oversee the creation, preparation, production, and distribution of periodic reports of staffing, workflow, metrics, Contract Deliverable Reports, and other metrics to document objective evidence of business operations.
- Work with manager to oversee the analysis of or analyze detailed performance metrics and collaborate with managers and staff to formulate service improvement recommendations. Communicate recommendations to fellow senior managers.
- Develop and monitor standard business processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the LISC enterprise. Identify issues or process improvements and implement appropriate actions.
- Vigorously pursue initiatives to improve the quality, efficiencies, and timeliness of LISC enterprise solutions, products, or services, while ensuring LISC Performance Work Statement (PWS) compliance.
- Ensure all personnel are hired and properly trained to execute their responsibilities and receive initial and recurring guidance, instructions, and direction needed to ensure quality and timely service.
- Prepare, recommend, and work with manager to oversee development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitor spending for adherence to budget plans, analyze variances, and recommend course of action.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science
- Five (5) or more years of experience managing technical teams.
- Experience working with:
- Information security practices, networks, software, and hardware
- Security architecture
- Operating systems
- Customer technology and support requirements
- Service level agreements and customer relations
- Business management industry practices, principles, methodologies, and tools
- Strong understanding of DoD Cybersecurity Policies and Procedures.
- Ability to conduct Information Systems vulnerability assessment, risk mitigation, and Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) development and tracking, understanding and application of mitigation strategies.
- Experience with software and application security evaluation using automated software evaluation tools.
- Network and/or System Administration technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Linux/Unix operating systems, Cisco products, and VMWare/virtualization.
- Experience with Cross-Domain systems/guards.
Other Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be able to travel up to 15% of time.
- DoD 8570 IASAE III Certified (CISSP-ISSEP or CISSP-ISSAP).
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project requirements
- Obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- Position is located at Patrick SFB, Florida or Vandenberg SFB, California.

The salary range for this role is $89,000 – $124,758; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
