Data Analyst (CLS) (1st Shift) — Dallas TX

Overview:

Data Analyst candidate to act as an analytics support analyst, supporting some key customer accounts. The Data Analyst will work closely with operations, analysts and customers to resolve data issues, model issues, and process issues in the analytical project development, implementation and production. The Data Analyst will ensure data accuracy and consistency by navigating the existing automated processes and procedures, and maintain reference documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to analytics service requests, change requests and enhancement requests.
  • Efficiently support analytical projects for the customer and handle the communication with the customer and operations.
  • Identify root causes for some reoccurring issues in SQL models, Excel models, Data models and document standard operating procedures to resolve these issues on-time.
  • Work with the operations team to enable BI and reporting capabilities from the hourly operational reports.
  • Deliver visualizations via dashboards and outputting reports for end user consumption.
  • Develop and implement efficient Data Analytics projects, including data collection, storing and analyzing data through data mining, process analysis, performance benchmarking and descriptive analytics.
  • Learn advanced data analytics and data modeling techniques. Tools usually include Tableau, Python, and R.
  • Run and publish daily operational numbers, Weekly KPI’s and Monthly KPI’s.
  • Gather shift hand-offs and publish one daily update for the customer

Qualifications
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 0 – 2 years of experience working in IT or analytics team.
  • Experience with analytical tools – MS Excel, SQL, and Database Framework.
  • Experience supporting multiple customer accounts, handling customer issues and communicating the root causes and resolution.
  • Inquisitiveness and determination to learn new tools and concepts of data science and data modeling

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in IT support and some knowledge on managing tickets

The typical salary range for this position is: $63,420 – $65,000.

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
