Position Summary
Under general supervision, responsible for the support of a variety of activities in the Wholesale Marketing and Supply Department including maximizing the value of Grant PUD’s generating resources and environmental attributes, tracking and accounting for non-carbon attributes and Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), monitoring and researching regional and federal carbon legislation, support in the coordination and optimization of the operation of the Wanapum and Priest Rapids projects, providing analytical support for portfolio risk management and the Integrated Resource Plan, and analyzing wholesale power supply issues such as the Energy Imbalance Market (EIM), Regional Transmission Organization and the Canadian River Treaty.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Tracking and accounting for non-carbon attributes and Grant PUD’s Renewable Energy Credits.
- Monitoring and researching regional and federal carbon legislation.
- Utilization of data analysis techniques to enable efficient processing of large volumes of data.
- Provide support in performing resource scenario analysis using least cost planning models.
- Other duties as assigned that are related to the Wholesale Marketing operating unit including special projects.
- Demonstrated commitment to Grant PUD’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan. The incumbent should be familiar with these organizational priorities and behave in a way that aligns with these expectations.
- Understand and adhere to compliance requirements for this position that may include laws, regulations, security guidelines, Grant PUD policies & procedures.

Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, or finance.
- Experience may be substituted for education where applicable.
License and Certification
Required
- A valid State driver’s license with no restrictions is required.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of public utility processes desired; computer software packages including Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with data management and electronic records; and utility policies and procedures
- Skillsin accurately complete tasks and implement checks to ensure quality of product; maintaining confidentiality on sensitive issues; maintaining composure even under stressful circumstances; effectively presenting information to a variety of audiences in a variety of formats; effectively coordinating a variety of tasks and assignments simultaneously; use of personal judgment, tact, courtesy, and patience.
