Job Description
The Data Analytics Specialist works under the direction of the Data Analytics and Reporting Manager and supports the creation and delivery of analytics that supports the overall strategy for the HR organization. This position will drive the data and reporting processes and create dashboards, reporting, and analysis to help stakeholders make data informed decisions related to talent capabilities and capacity. The incumbent will work collaboratively with HR and business leaders to consolidate data and reporting from multiple systems and tools. The role is critical to the current and future analytics needs across the company to drive human capital decisions.
**Part-Time Position up to 28 hours Maximum**
Compensation: The hourly range for this role is $30.00 – $33.50. Pay will be determined based on experience level.
Essential Functions:
- Execute advanced analytics (e.g., forecasting, predictive analytics, prescriptive analytics) programs which will generate data-driven insights through partnership and collaboration across HR and talent functions
- Hands on development of data visualization and reporting to stakeholders
- Build and publish HR dashboards and reports
- Participate and provide data supported feedback to HR leaders and stakeholders
- Support requests for HR and internal business reviews
- Identify, develop, and recommend appropriate data sources, analytics, modeling, and reporting methodologies.
- Support the development and implementation of data collection systems and automation of reporting processes.
- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within the company
- Perform other duties as assigned
Management Responsibility:
The Data Analytics Specialist is an individual contributor reporting to the Data Analytics and Reporting Manager and supports the overall HR department leaders.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data science, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience with performing data analysis, data quality measurement and data mapping.
- Experienced Hands-on reporting development using tools like Power BI, SiSense, Tableau, or other data related tools.
- Expert using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel and power point.
- Additional Certifications related to Data Science, Master Data Management.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data in an easily understood and concise way.
- Ability to communicate and present data that clearly tells a story and generates insights and path forward.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to recommend creative, out of the box solutions.
- Strong Reporting Design skills
- Experience with Data Visualization Platforms, Business Intelligence tools (such as Power BI, SiSense, Tableau, Oracle, Data Visualization Platform.)
- Strong Data Analysis, Data Quality and Modeling skills
- Ability to operate comfortably and effectively in a fast paced, highly cross functional, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet established deadlines.
