Job Description:
Data Architect, (Atlanta, GA) (Hiscox, Inc.): Responsible for mapping of data sources, data movements, interfaces, and analytics to ensure data quality. Work closely with data engineers and BI specialists to develop a streamlined, efficient and robust data architecture to meet business needs for data migration, information delivery, reporting and analytics. Design data updates to enterprise data warehouse and other data migration processes including to and from third party systems. Design the industrialization of analytic procedures into EDW and other internal systems. Establish a data map for new and existing systems distinguishing between different data types, interaction methods and controls. Analyze current state data design while conceiving future state and propose projects. Track changes in the system and application architecture having data implications, ensuring documentation and the application registration are accurately maintained and distributed. Compile and produce reports on core metrics around the data architecture, changes, and quality issues. Collaborate with the business to address data related problems in regard to systems integration and compatibility. Enforce methods and validation mechanisms for ensuring data quality and accuracy at the point of entry. Perform data audits on a regular basis. Assist in the migration from legacy to new policy administration systems. Make architectural changes to existing data warehouse, design data migration plan and design architecture for integration of enterprise data warehouse with new systems and work with analytics team to procure data and embed analytic models into industrialized processes. Work with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Perform the insurance and claims handling IT process. Work with databases. Work with SSIS, Tableau, and MS SSIS. Perform Microsoft SQL server database design and development. Migrate on-premises storage to cloud servers. Integrate data architecture with BI tools. Design and implement enterprise data warehouses, data modelling and database optimization.

Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
