You Are:
UST is searching for a Data Architect I who will design, develop, and implement data architecture for a large enterprise in two of the following: Data ingestion, Data Management, Data Delivery, and Data Consumption.
The Opportunity:
- Architect, design, and implement high-performance large-volume data integration, transformation, warehouse, data lakes, data in the cloud or large volume warehouse, data in the cloud, data analysis, reporting, and visualization of data from a data warehouse using any one tool like (PowerBI, Tableau, D3, etc)
- Design and implement any one of the cloud big data solutions (AWS/AZURE/GCP/Apache Hadoop)
- Plan information architecture by studying the site concept, strategy, domain, and target audience; information structure and features, designing information structure, evaluating information representation, backup, recovery, and security specification
- Customer focus – improves customer service, effectively engages customers, and builds with the customer on your solution capability.
- Provide end-to-end technical guidance and roadmaps for Sales & Marketing
- Validate estimates from the team
- Hold certification in Architect/Big Data specialty certification in one of AWS or Azure or GCP with experience in knowledge of other architecting Big Data solutions on other cloud and Big Data platforms

What you need:
- Strong healthcare experience in both payor and provider experience.
- Strong experience in Data warehouse architecture
- Must have data modeling experience.
- Good to have someone with EPIC data experience.
- Domain knowledge, understanding of domain data
- Applied Mathematics and Statistics
- Skilled in writing design documents, usage of PowerPoint, Visio
- Data visualization, streaming
- Data migration
- Data modeling, vector, and Graphs
- RDMSs (relational database management systems), SQL
- Databases such as NoSQL and cloud computing
- Hadoop technologies, like MapReduce, Hive, and Pig
- Programming languages, especially Python and Java
- Operating systems, including UNIX and MS Windows
- Cloud solutions
- Backup/archival software
- Understanding of data security
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for Role
California: $112,000-$168,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
