Job Description Summary:
PayPal, Inc. seeks Data Engineer 3 in San Jose, CA, to Provide data insights for key People initiatives using visualization tools like Tableau and support Pay Pal and People organizational functions. Set reporting capabilities for end-user to track the performance of the live product and report key performing indicators back to the leadership team. Translate user requirements into a roadmap, product requirements, and coordinate among cross-functional teams in an agile environment to build and refine the solutions to meet the goals of each project checkpoint. Ideate checkpoint goals using historical data and factoring in data design and visual development. Manipulate large data sets through scripting languages like Python and SQL, using data to drive decision making, working across various teams and levels of seniority. Work with all levels of stakeholders from across the business to understand requirements and consult with them on Business Intelligence solutions. Predict and track the impact of new and evolving products and experiences through documentation and analysis of productivity metrics.
Job Description:
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a closely related analytical field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
