Job Summary

YGS seeks a detailed-oriented, individual contributor as its next Data Entry Coordinator, Operations Systems. This position will support complex data entry as it relates to child care, programs and membership. The Data Entry Coordinator will have a keen eye for details while preforming regular audits to ensure the organization’s program catalog is up to date and accurate and the Y’s point of sale system accurately displays program offerings to members and participants. This position is part of a dynamic, fast-paced team.

Hiring Range: $18.69 – $21/hour

Responsibilities

  1. Completes complex YMCA program-related data entry into the membership and program registration software (ACTIVE Net).
  2. Provides excellent customer service and facilitates the resolution of staff system issues and questions that frequently require analysis of situations and program offerings to determine cause of error, the best course of action/resolution, and use of resources.
  3. Performs regular auditing to ensure completeness and accuracy of membership and program offerings and catalog.
  4. Identifies and corrects errors. Informs related teams about errors encountered and may provide training on how to prevent errors in the future.
  5. Under the direction of the System Administrator, performs necessary system updates (ACTIVE Net) including membership configurations, program/activity builds, fee set-up, facility rentals, child care registrations, etc.
  6. Assists staff and members with general YMCA inquiries, including facility, membership and program information. Provides support with membership, program and processes and procedures. Maintains current knowledge of operational procedures.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This is a remote full-time position. Expected hours of work include Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm. Times may vary depending on business needs. Occasional weekend work, and in person work, training, and events may be required. Candidates located in Washington and King Co. are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of experience in an administrative support/data entry position.
  • Excellent typing skills, accuracy, and speed
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
  • Impeccable organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to identify errors with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions via phone, email and in person.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the desire and ability to collaborate with staff members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.).
  • Ability to speak any language in addition to English.
