Overview

IGT is seeking a qualified Data Informatics Analyst who will generate ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools, database or data warehouse queries and scripts. This role will be based out of our Schenectady office.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations
  • Report key insight trends, using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy story lines that impact the business.
  • Learn and understand a broad range of IGT’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
  • Build automated data solutions and dashboards, maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, product management, marketing and other department leaders and works in team environment to help deliver customer requirements for IGT and New York Lottery.
  • Able to adjust to changing priority and assume additional responsibilities.
  • Able to convert the proof-of-concept code and modules into production deployable code using functional, object-oriented programming.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience in Data Informatics or Analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficient in Python / R programming in the data analytics area.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Proficient in creating dashboards using any visualization tools (Tableau / Power BI etc.)
  • Familiarity with MS-Excel advanced concepts like vlookups / pivot tables etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience presenting to department leaders.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $51,900 – $105,500. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
