What you will be doing
Data Partnerships Merchandising Lead at Albertson’s Companies strategic role focused on protecting and growing ACI’s 3rd party data partnerships to deliver world-class products & services to our customers. The team will research, manage, and forge data partnerships, leveraging data governance, legal, compliance, and IT to drive maximum business value, speed, and alternative revenue opportunities for ACI. This role is also an interface for day-to-day interaction managing opportunities and innovation with data providers, internal customers, the enterprise data management team, and enterprise data governance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand, streamline and optimize the relationships/contracts with our current and emerging partners, including third party agreements, data sharing and contracts
- Contribute to the Data Partnership’s monetization roadmap to support the overarching business strategy and objectives of the Enterprise
- Consult and capture insight needs from the business units. Identifying the data required to meet these needs for input into use cases
- Proactively research and understand data monetization trends and identify new partnership opportunities
- Own and drive streamline processes across Data Partnerships and Merchandising to drive increased collaboration and value
- Document existing merchant asks and work across the Enterprise to develop a concise and holistic strategy that demonstrates the value of working with Albertsons to all of our vendor partners, and increases overall profit at ACI
“The salary range is $ 131k-$184k annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. “
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years business experience in strategy related work in any industry
- Higher education degree
- Succeeds in working independently, managing multiple projects, working under pressure, and adapting to sudden changes in the work environment

- Demonstrated collaboration across complex organizations
- Demonstrated excellence in strategy development and execution of large-scaled efforts
- Skilled at contract, account, and vendor management negotiations in a technical capability
- Knowledge of Consumer and Data Privacy Laws at Global, Regional and Local Levels
- Working knowledge of Data Management and Governance principles
- Showcases strong verbal, written, presentation, and diplomacy skills to manage collaborative workstreams across functions and internal teams
