What does a great Data Processor do?

As the Implementation Data Processor, you will join the team driving one of the most exciting and transformational programs at Travelport. You will need to have an analytical mind and the ability to process data for different audiences.

This individual will manage the data load for each MCN and PCC coming from the enablement team via the SNOW process into the implementation team for Customer provisioning. They will take the information and data provided and reformat it into the correct customer facing documents required for implementation. This is meticulous work and attention to detail and data accuracy is imperative. The data processer will be responsible for reformatting the data into user friendly facing documents, such as but not limited to the Welcome Letters for new implementations. This role will need to compare data from one system to the other and be able to accurately report/record the differences and action them where needed.

Responsibilities include:

This role will report directly to the Director of Solution Consultancy for NORAM responsible for the Solution Specialist implementation team. This role will work within the regional specialist implementation team, and work very closely with the current Implementation Solution Team.

This role will have a dotted line of reporting to lead implementation specialist, who will advise on work to be completed for numerous projects across the multiple teams.

The role is crucial in maintaining competitive advantage and differentiating Travelport through quick and accurate data processing and setup.

  • Ensure improvements in system and process are relayed back to Solution Director within CO&O
  • Become a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge in the specific setup of provisioning documentation.
  • Work as a team with the implementation specialists to build and implement the implementation check lists.
  • Produce and present quality data reviews.
  • Prioritize activities to ensure data is processed timely for implementation teams to implement.
  • Utilize reporting to analyze / highlight opportunities for process improvement.
  • Aggregate data from multiple channels to provide a single view
  • Communicate optimally with other departments such as Enablement to ensure requirements are clearly understood.

Who we are looking for in this role:

  • 5+ years’ experience within data processing and analytics of data
  • Strong technical knowledge of the travel industry with GDS functionality and industry related work experience would be advantageous.
  • Excellent level of technical awareness with a solid understanding of Travelport GDS is advantageous
  • Must have the ability to assess and analyze data accurately, and manage large amounts of data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to adapt approach and style to suit the audience
  • Excellent MS Excel skills a must
  • Able to interpret data
  • Experience with SNOW systems is advantageous
  • Must be able to work under pressure and adhere to timelines and deadlines
  • Committed to providing excellent team support and demonstrates resourcefulness when dealing with complex situations.
  • Able to plan and prioritize being self-disciplined with good time management.

Salary Target: $75,000 – $85,000

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
