POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Data Product Manager will build partnerships across the organization to define the product vision, communicate the program’s roadmap, and deliver scalable, impactful and timely data solutions. The candidate should possess a passion for developing data centric business visualization capabilities from the ground-up.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (however not limited to):
• Solidify the program’s strategic vision by delivering a roadmap for immediate and near-term development
• Build an engagement framework to continuously gather stakeholder feedback and action areas for enhancement
• Develop marketing deliverables to demonstrate product functionality and articulate business value
• Oversee the development lifecycle, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, story execution, testing, deployment and integration
• Collaborate with end users to effectively integrate data products into their business workflow
• Design proof of concepts that outline product specifications, project plans, and change management practice
• Lead and actively contribute to meetings with executive-level stakeholder
• Further define, document, and communicate product quality measures for status reporting and program alignment
• Collaborate with the enterprise technology and vendors to deliver applications that create, manage, and consume critical business data
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of professional experience, inclusive of 1+ years product development experience and 2+ years executing strategic, analytical, technical, and project management skill
• Experience deploying business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Python)
• Experience with the Agile methodology
• Ability to collaborate across a variety of constituent
• Strong communication skill
• Strong work ethic, proactive and motivated
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Certification in Product Management with a specialization in Data Product
• Experience in Real Estate, Private Equity, and/or Financial Services
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $105000 and $120000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
