Responsibilities
Peraton currently seeks an experienced Data Scientist Analyst to provide support to a Department of Defense organization.
Location: Monterey, CA
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform longitudinal analysis on recruiting cohorts
- Analyze marketing effectiveness to measure performance and ROI to the level that the best mix of marketing strategies to link up to market types.
- Analyze the effectiveness in regional and organizational markets and the impact on recruiter efficiency.
- Expanded analytical capability to the US Army recruiting brigade HQ to support operations and future planning.
- Research on attitudinal transitions and the understanding of impact to recruiting effort and mitigation.
- Analysis to evaluate the competitive environment and identify strategies to change momentum for recruiters.
- Develop recruiting early-warning performance indicators.
- Conduct unique primary research to understand specific aspects of the market and recruiting-related processes in a timely manner as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2
- Experience developing research and evaluation plans and analyzing data.
- Experience providing policy recommendations and writing technical reports.
- U.S. citizenship required
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
- Master’s degree and a minimum of five years managing large, complex projects. May consider a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in lieu of a master’s degree.
- Experience preparing and presenting briefings to executive-level decision makers.
- Familiarity with the DoD or Army recruiting data.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 – $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
