In this role you will be part of a small development team which provides greater insight into data for a critical national customer. If you are an experienced full-stack software engineer with graph database experience that wants the challenge to drive an end to end solution this is the role for you. Your diverse responsibilities will include: UI development of graph visualization, graph database query and stored procedure development, API/Database development, integration, data ingest, and backend integration.
Utilizing state of the art commercial standard methodologies for software and database development, automated testing, continuous integration, automated deployment, distributed CM, and modern development tools, you will participate in developing and maintaining system capabilities for data services. You will progress these interfaces and system capabilities from early design through acceptance with a focus on software reuse, GOTS/COTS/FOSS integrations, and innovative, affordable best practices.
Graph database duties include: providing data modeling, ETL, data management, and analytics support to our team. Working with a variety of data sets, you will iteratively define our graph data model, creating ontologies and loading static data sets into the graph. You will define relationships between multiple taxonomies and integrate data schemas where appropriate. To be successful in this position, you will need extensive knowledge of graph database concepts, the ability to understand the user’s requirements and create a solution to address these challenges. Additionally, you will need to collaborate with developers and Product Mangers to architect and implement a unified, extensible schema for existing and future data and development of internal tools, as needed.
Full-stack development duties include: coordination with the customer, users, systems engineering and development team, and program management office to establish a development environment, support development of user stories, design, build and test APIs/UIs, create interface and software documentation, and deploy systems to intended environment. Additionally, you will work with team to capture and mitigate appropriate design risk and opportunities.
You must demonstrate effective technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate demonstrates the ability to be self-driven and work with a team of multiple skills and job disciplines. The successful candidate demonstrates enjoyment for the opportunities to have frequent interactions with teammates in other geographical locations
Basic Qualifications:
• Direct tangible experience and understanding of graph databases
• Experience with schema design and development
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Active TS clearance with SCI access needed to meet the requirements set forth by our customer.
• Ability to work 100% on-site
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Agile methods, processes and practices
• Demonstrated strong background in full lifecycle of Software Engineering
• Experience with Neo4j schema design and development
• Experience with the Cypher query language
• Relevant software development experience (ex Java Javascript, HTML 5)
• Experience developing microserivce based APIs
• Knowledge of microservice design patterns and experience with implementing and scaling microservices using Docker, Kubernetes and/or Rancher

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $105,000 – $201,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
