As a Data Storyteller Senior Specialist within Deloitte’s in-house Green Dot Agency, you will generate insights across the marketing and client lifecycle and present digestible insight-led stories that inspire action and influence business growth. In partnership with marketers and other stakeholders, you will use your creativity, strong communication, data-visualization, and analysis skills, to craft compelling narratives that turn complex data sets into actionable insights that inform and support business decisions. This includes partnering with stakeholders to scope projects and requirements and delivering data-driven research offerings to marketing teams across our businesses.
The Team
What you’ll do:
• Be a great data storyteller. Synthesize complex data sets into clear, concise, and compelling insights that inspire action through powerfully engaging narratives that drive growth for our brand and business
• Facilitate strategic conversations with Deloitte business and marketing leaders to understand business objectives and translate into measurement strategies and goals, to demonstrate marketing’s impact on the business and optimization tactics
• Analyze large and complex data sets using business intelligence tools (Tableau preferred), to visualize key insights from our data warehouse to tell your story, reducing time spent interpreting data, and focusing on conveying the most meaningful insights to influence action and drive business growth
• Deliver digestible, insight-led presentations from diverse marketing data sources (such as omnichannel and customer). Synthesize data and recommend appropriate visualizations to convey the most meaningful information for stakeholders using multiple channels including PowerPoint, dashboards, and infographics; develop storyboard, define target persona, summarize key messaging and provide client-ready content
• Work directly with stakeholders to understand business objectives and define key performance indicators and relevant benchmarks to evaluate performance; identify emerging themes, both internal and external trends, and lead programs and strategies to execution
• Analyze inputs to Deloitte’s marketing strategy (e.g., target audience, content strategy) and the impact of marketing investments; identify growth opportunities; present key learnings to inform business
• Apply analytic reasoning to draw out insights in alignment with business priorities, explain the logic and reasoning to stakeholders, and deliver recommendations in alignment with strategy
• Flag and monitor data quality to ensure confidence in the data used for analysis
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in marketing analytics or customer insights, B2B experience preferred
• Excellent oral/written presentation skills; proficiency in advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the business to achieve strategic objectives
• Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to clearly present complex information in a simple manner, discern business meaning and inspire action based upon your point of view through strong storytelling
• Advanced knowledge of business intelligence tools; Tableau (preferred), Microsoft Power BI and Qlik to design data visualizations and dashboards to effectively evaluate marketing campaigns and communicate insights
• Experience in translating business objectives into measurement goals
• A self-starter who can achieve results in an intense, fast-paced, virtual team environment; handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66200 to $135800
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
