Job Summary
Administer the AMI systems. Responsible for establishing and configuring all electric and gas meter customers on AMI systems and verifying all billing factors. Responsible for all AMI meters’ data collection, processing, and distribution.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the daily operation, data configuration, maintenance, analytics, and support of the Meter Data Collection Systems (AMI Head End and Meter Data Management System).
Responsible for establishing and configuring all electric, gas and other measurement devices on the AMI/AMR systems, including verification of all billing factors.
Responsible for monitoring interrupted service on gas and electric during curtailment and taking the appropriate action if service is not interrupted. Responsible for coordinating AMI/AMR related work activities with Field Operations personnel, including troubleshooting.
Responsible for providing data support to internal and external clients. Analyze system data input and output streams for accuracy, monitor, troubleshoot and evaluate all system and measurement device alarms generated.
Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management’s expectation for effective internal business controls. Ensure data integrity, which involves developing, initiating and coordinating corrective actions.
Responsible for monitoring the data collection system to identify lost registration and/or high bill conditions and ensuring that corrective action is taken.
Responsible for developing, specifying, and using analytical trend analysis of equipment and data through the use of an adjunct database and other applications. (MS Access, SAP, Excel, etc.).
Create and maintain performance reports and work plans including routine trend analysis to maximize results. Utilize the SAP billing system to investigate data anomalies. Create trend analysis and graphs to monitor performance, investigate and explain abnormalities. Assist in the assessment of software applications in support of AMI/AMR and other initiatives. Provide field support as required.

Job Specific Qualifications
Required:
Associate Degree or 2 years’ work experience with Gas & Electric Metering, measurement systems, metering hardware and software systems, AMI/AMR and data collection systems applications or communications and web-based applications.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and trend data
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite
Strong oral and written communication skills
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record
Desirable:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering
Computer literate in Web Service, MS project, and other applications
Planning, Analytical and Technical Skills
Data cleansing, familiarity with SQL Server, queries and applications
Demonstrated leadership skills
5 years’ experience with AMI/AMR, Measurement, Communications Technologies or the equivalent
Familiarity with digital and RF communication technologies
Minimum Years of Experience
